RTCW 2020 6v6 League Rules

The General Rules & Format:
All matches are to be played on Return to Castle Wolfenstein version 1.4, using OSP 0.9 and the latest server config.
The cup's format is the standard 6v6 stopwatch ABBA.
A maximum of 10 teams can sign up.
Every team will play against each other once in an all vs all group.

Maplist:
Beach, Base, Ice, Village, Frostbite, Assault
Discord is the official channel of communication during the cup.
Each team needs to have a captain that communicates with other team captains to make sure that both team have 6 players and start on time. There will be a designated discord channel for this.
Captains need to report the outcome of the match once it's over.
All teams need to use a tag ingame and use their real nickname. A player that refuses to comply with this rule will be kicked from the cup.
mp_base’s time limit should be set to 10 minutes instead of 15 (/callvote timelimit 10 at the start of each SW)
Only 1 panzerfaust per team is allowed.
Each week will feature a different combination of predetermined maps; they will be announced once the signups close.
There is no roster limit. Teams are allowed to add members to their roster while the cup is in progress, as long as those players are not currently playing - or have previously played - in the cup. If a player is a member of a team currently participating in the cup but has not yet played a game, he is allowed to switch teams.
Teams can use a merc. Teams using a merc must first inform the designated admin before the match is to be played. The admin will then approve the usage of the merc for that match. Admins will attempt to approve only mercs whom are an acceptable replacement in terms of skill to the player they are replacing if possible. This fact is not up to the other teams decision. Mercs can only merc for the same team once during the duration of the entire cup.

Servers:
The servers to play on are predetermined*; each match will have a designated server.
If there are problems with the server, please contact an admin.
If there are 2 or more NA-teams signed up, matches which feature a NA team vs an EU team, one half will be played on the NA server (New York) and the other half on a EU (United Kingdom or Netherlands) server. Which map will be played on which server will be predetermined by the schedule made by the admin.
*In the case NA team vs NA team, these teams can arrange the server freely and give this information to the admin staff.

Scheduling:
Games will be played according to the schedule on sundays and start at 19:30/20:00 CET & 20:30/21:00 CET. Map combinations and match-ups will be announced once the sign-ups close.

Delays:
A match can be delayed no longer than 15 minutes after the scheduled time. Once the 15 minutes expire, the team responsible for the delay must use a backup player or merc.
If a merc is to be used, said merc must first be approved by the match's designated admin.
If the 15 minutes expire and the delaying team has been unable to find replacements, the opponent may force the start of the match. This means that it's possible that one team plays with fewer players. During the duration of the match, the team that lacks players can still add players at any given time. A merc must first be approved by one of the admins.

Scoring & Points:
A win counts as 3 points, a draw as 1 points and a loss will result in 0 points.
If 2 teams have an equal amount of points, the winner will be decided by the amount of rounds won. If both teams have the same amount of rounds won, the winner will be determined by the amount of rounds they lost or drew. A draw is valued higher than a loss; if team A has more draws than team B has losses, team A wins.

Exploits & Cheating:

Known Exploit Rules:
1. Weapon boosting and entrance/door blocking via kill - revive is forbidden.
For example: Shooting in the back of a spawn-protected teammate or an objective carrying teammate to get a speed boost. Blocking the axis players that spawn on upper bunker in beach via kill - reviving someone in the entrance to the radio room.
2. The documents are not allowed to be passed on through the gate located near the allied spawn on Village.
3. Panzerfarming/Panzerswapping: It IS allowed to use "+dropweapon" within the soldier class to "panzerswap" the panzerfaust. HOWEVER if two or more players simultaneously have a panzerfaust on them it will result in a full time round loss. Example of what is ALLOWED: Alpha spawns panzer, Beta spawns sniper. Alpha fires his shot and gives the panzer to Beta to fire another shot. DISALLOWED: Beta now keeps the panzer and Alpha respawns with a new panzer. Now there are two panzers simultaneously in play which is punishable by a full time round loss.
4. Hacks and script exploits are forbidden.
Example: wallhack, aimbot, skin packs, centerview and turn scripts that violate the cvar limits.
Hacks and script exploits are in serious violation of our cup’s rules. A team caught using a hack or script exploit will be banned and have its results nullified. It’s highly recommended to recruit players with caution.
5. If you have a question towards the legality of a possible exploit, contact an admin as soon as possible to avoid being hit with infractions in the future.

Demos:
All players participating in the cup are required to record demos of their matches and are not allowed to remove them until 1 week after the end of the cup. An admin can at all times request demos from aforementioned players.

Disputes:
If any general conflict should arise between two teams, the admin team should be informed as soon as possible. Teams are encouraged to find mutually acceptable solutions amongst themselves via team captains without the aid of a cup admin. There are cases, however, in which an admin is needed and we would recommend pausing play if in a live match and contacting an admin as possible to resolve the dispute. If a player insults other players during a match, the player will receive a warning. If the player persists to display toxic behaviour, the player will be removed from the match. This also applies to voice- and text chat spam. The team of which the player has been removed is allowed to substitute him/her with a merc to prevent a default loss.
